The CDEC Digital Library project, find its main, innovative, point in the adoption of the Linked Open Data: they allowed us to connect our several and scattered databases coming from the different departments of my institute (historical archive, audio-visual archive, photo archive, library). In the framework of this project I strongly promoted the adoption of a Linked Data Platform (openDams) and I worked side by side with the Regesta data Architects (Silvia Mazzini especially) for the build up of the ontology on the Shoah domain (the first ever realized) and the publishing, as Linked Open Data, of the full list of the names of Jews persecuted and deported from Italy during the Second World War.
