I'm the team lead of the applications development team at Canadian Heritage Information Network.
We are responsible for the architecture and development of the applications rendering our data and the data that museums contribute to our sites.
I've been working in the IT field for almost 20 years and at CHIN since 2007.

I'd like to be present for two reasons.
One is to discuss with the participants how they implement their open data project in their global architecture.
The second is to support technically the Information Analyst of CHIN that will be present and that have a lot of other expectations.

|Linked Open Data Projects
I have unfortunately not done any open data project yet.
But with the initiative of the government of Canada regarding open data (http://www.data.gc.ca), this will become soon the priority of the team.
On top of that, CHIN could provide a lot of data (technically speaking, without any consideration for copyright yet) that could be re-purposed by others.
