I’m currently Digital Collections Senior Analyst at Te Papa, working to make our digital collections and information as available as possible, in as many useful ways as possible. I’ve been at Te Papa since 2001, working in the Art and Photography collections before moving into Collections Information in 2004

I work with Te Papa's Collections Online http://collections.tepapa.govt.nz, which uses a semantic data model based on the CIDOC CRM linking humanities and natural science collection items with people, places, subjects, and stories knowledge.
Through collections online we've also made 45, 000 items available for high resolution download under either CC BY-NC-ND or No Known Copyright Restrictions. Recent analysis of the first 9 months of the project is available here http://blog.tepapa.govt.nz/2015/04/10/reusing-te-papas-collections-images-by-the-numbers/.
Te Papa is at the early stages of making it's collection data available under a CC-BY licence, through API or some other method, tbd.
Te Papa has been a long term contributor to DigitalNZ, and I work very closely with them, including being on the Advisory Board, and contributing data to the first stages of the People and Places project.
